The Central Park 5 victims were depicted in the Netflix mini-series "When They See Us" which elaborates the real story events from the 1989 Central Park jogger case. Trisha Meili went for a routine jog through central park, where horrors awaited her. She was bludgeoned with a tree branch, assaulted, and left to die. Around the time of the crime, the police received calls about a group of teenagers harassing people in the park.
Five teenagers, now known as Central Park 5, were taken into custody and were convicted of the assault in 1990. The crime lacked evidence, and there was unidentified DNA at the scene. Have these men recovered from their past? Where are they now?
